Seamless City

This guy is really committed to his work, but mostly just insane.

"Peering at building after building through his viewfinder, Koller looks like an incredibly persistent tourist, or perhaps a burglar who is casing out the block. But his motives aren't voyeurism or cheap crime. Instead, he is experimenting with digital imaging technology to create a project he calls ``Seamless City,'' a first-ever technical and artistic effort."

Adventure Alan

OOooo, its Adventure Alan.
He's got some interesting photos from a portion of the Continental Divide Trail. And neat stuff from a big Teton Hike he did as well.

I guess I'm on a mountain kick. Better photos I just found at widerange.org Check out August in the San Juan range. Thats where you wanna go. Yep. This is cool.

Tim's new 2003 Arkansas Wilderness Calander
Who says this isn't a beautiful place to live?

..............................

I've been admiring Benjamin Krain's new site. He's a photographer for the Democrat Gazette in Little Rock, ...make that a GREAT photographer. I've been thinking about what that would be like, ..to be a photographer for a major newspaper. I don't think you could make a pile of cash at it, but you know that its gotta be a fun job, most of the time, in the sense that you get to go "out there" and see and do different stuff everday. And people pay you for it.

I got the urge the other day to put together thumbnails and complete some kind of gallery for my Richland Creek photos. Most of them suck. But looking at them makes me want to go back. I'd like to sneak up there in a couple of weeks for the fall color. That'd be nice.

Photoshop 7 has a nice Auto Web Gallery feature. ...Nice for people who don't care to learn html, and don't have time to make lots of thumbnails. It does it all fur ya. How neat and eazy and lazy. My kind'a feature.
