I'd heard my grandfather speaking of "the crater" on a couple of occasions, but never really thought too much about it. This was interesting though. We decided that we would leave the museum and go find it. After a bit a driving around in the general area of the said crater, we finally made the correct series of turns on an old system of rugged dirt roads.
